Portuguese Tripe (Dobrada Guisada)

This is a recipe for the very popular and traditional Dobrada Guisada, which is Portuguese Tripe. Tripe are the intestines of the cow and dobrada guisada is a very famous dish historically, originating in Porto. This dish is to be served for many and combines different vegetables along with the meats to make a dish which is amazingly flavorful. Coelho a Cacodora, a Portuguese Roasted Rabbit recipe. This is one of the most delicious recipes coming from the beautiful green islands of the Azores in Portugal. Going on rabbit hunting expeditions is a rite of passage for many men in the Azores and thus there have been ways to cook them that have been honed for hundreds of years. This is a delicious recipe for Portuguese Porridge using grits, which is also known as Papas. Making Portuguese Pork Liver Pâté (Empadinha de Porco)

This is a delicious recipe for Empadinha de Porco, or Portuguese Pork liver Pâté. Pork liver Pâté is a Portuguese dish which is quite unique and maybe not as popular as other Portuguese dishes, but definitely competes with the best of the dishes in Portuguese cuisine in my opinion. The interesting texture and strong flavor of this Pâté is absolutely amazing and I can never get enough of this dish when it is made. The ingredients and recipe are a bit more complicated than our usual simple easy to make recipes but this one is totally worth it.
