Prego no Pão has been the most popular and widely eaten sandwich in Portuguese cuisine for many years. This Cavacas recipe took quite a bit of effort to get from my aunt’s recipe book as it has been a secret family recipe for generations, and even though it is quite simple, it is one of my favorite desserts.
