Kale Smoothie recipe. This great recipe is one of the most healthy things we will ever post on Easy Portuguese Recipes. It contains one of the healthiest plants on the plant and widely used in almost all of Portuguese cuisine, and that is Kale. Not only is it hearty and nutritious, it can taste great if used in the right way. We are bringing a recipe here for a kale shake drink which you can make and enjoy at anytime in the day, preferably in the morning to jump start your day. This shake is so nutritious you will feel tons of energy afterwards and probably not going to be hungry for a very long time so for those who are very health conscious, this is the recipe for you. Ingredients:
2 Kale Leaves chopped up
2 stalks of Celery chopped up
2 Carrots chopped up
1 Small cube of Ginger
2 Teaspoons of Peanut Butter
1 Banana
2 Teaspoons of Coconut Oil
1 Glass of Water
Directions:
1) Chop up all the kale, carrots, celery, ginger, and banana into small pieces and place them in a bowl.
2) Place them into a blender, then add 2 teaspoons of coconut oil, 2 teaspoons of Peanut Butter to the blender as well
3) Add the water to the blender and then mix for about 30 seconds or until the consistency is smooth to your liking, now go ahead and pour it into a cup and enjoy!
*This serves about a serving and a half worth of shake*
