This is a simple recipe for some oven roasted shrimp with garlic. Perfect to serve over rice or pasta. It also makes a great appetizer.
Ingredients:
2 heads of garlic
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Peel the garlic cloves.
Take a small baking pan and line the bottom of the pan with olive oil, add the garlic and cover with tin foil. Roast the garlic covered for about 25 minutes.
Remove from the oven and add the shrimp, mix well to make sure the all the shrimp are covered with oil. Add the black pepper and recover with foil.
Bake in the oven again for 5-10 minutes, enough so the shrimp turn translucent.
Serve hot.
