Sausage and Rice (Salsicha e Arroz)

Sausage and Rice, Salsicha e Arroz recipe. In Portuguese cuisine, pork and rice just simply go together. Portuguese people have been enjoying sausage and rice as a staple of their diet and have perfected the most simple way to eat them together. You do not need many complex ingredients or directions to make a delicious dish and this recipe is no exception. This wonderfully simple recipe we are showing you guys today is really easy to make and is one of the most tasty Portuguese recipes that you can make.

Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter
1 (16 ounce) linguica sausage
1 teaspoon salt
4 cups water
2 cups rice

Directions:
1)Put Butter and sliced Linguica in pot over medium heat. Brown Linguica it takes about 15 minute.
2)Add the Water To Pot, And Salt.
3)Bring to a boil,Add Rice. When the rice and water come to a boil, turn heat down to a simmer. Stir Occasionally throughout cooking time. It takes about 15-20 minute.
