Mamão com Vinho de Porto is a very popular Angolan Papaya and Port wine dessert. This is one of the most traditional signature Angolan desserts. It combines the wonderful sweetness of Portuguese port wine with Angolan Papayas to make for a fruity and light dessert perfect for enjoying after a large meal.
1 papaya, deseeded and cut into halves
4 tablespoons port wine
1 tablespoon cinnamon powder
1) Slice the papaya into halves and deseed them.
2) Pour the port wine into the halves.
3) Cover them with the tablespoon of cinnamon powder. Serve.
